Why UK businesses need to be compliant with NIS2 and DORA
Business resilience and cyber security are increasingly becoming a priority for regulators, as well as organisations. Countries across the world are now requiring organisations to comply with information security mandates. With the European Union most recently adopting two important pieces of legislation in this area: the Network and Information Security Directive – know as NIS2; and the Digital Operational Resilience ACT (DORA).
While these regulations do not directly apply to UK businesses, they still affect organisations operating or carrying out activities for EU businesses (including those in Ireland). UK organisations that fall under the scope must be compliant to do business in the EU, which applies to a vast percentage of businesses in the UK.
In this webinar, brought to you by CIO and Mimecast, we’ll discuss everything you need to know about the new regulations, and how to ensure your business remains compliant not just on paper but in practice.
